| Dr. Ernest Ndukwe has a baccalaureate degree in geology and environmental studies from State University of New York, Binghamton, New York. He received his M.S. degree from Ball State University, Muncie, Indiana in Natural Resources and Environmental Policy and his Ph.D. degree from Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan in Resource Development and Environmental Policy. Dr. Ndukwe is an award-winning essayist. He was one of the winners in the 1988 National Cash Register (NCR) essay competition on leadership. His name, along with those of the other winners, was published in the Wall Street Journal. He was also a winner of the John F. Kennedy Memorial essay competition sponsored by the United States Information Service. He has been interviewed by the Voice of America (VOA) and by several regional and local radio talk shows. He is a Senior Environmental Quality Analyst with the State of Michigan Department of Environmental Quality. He has been a Visiting Lecturer at Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, Michigan and an instructor at Schoolcraft College Livonia, Lansing Community, and Baker College. Dr. Ndukwe is a father of four daughters. He values respect for himself and others, demonstrated by sincerity, reliability, spirituality and goodwill within his relationships. He is a sports enthusiast. He was a member of the varsity soccer team in college and is a competitive and champion tennis player. |
